Shivakumara Swami, the head of Sree Siddaganga Mutt in Karnataka, has died at 111.

Dr Shivakumara Swami, the seer who headed the Sree Siddaganga Mutt in Karnataka’s Tumakuru, has died at 111 after weeks of treatment. Shivakumara Swami had been unwell for a while and had been on life support for the past two weeks. Karnataka will observe three-day mourning and schools, colleges and government offices will be closed on Tuesday as a mark of respect for the seer revered by millions. Shivakumara Swami was often known as «the walking god». Top political leaders mourned the death of the Lingayat seer; rivals Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa united in expressing their grief and addressed the media jointly.

Для всех тех, кто собирается в южную Индию, а именно в Штат Карнатака, мы начинаем создавать краткий интерактивный словарь-транслейтор для путешественников по Карнатаке. 

Собираясь в путешествие, в любую страну, хорошо бы иметь возможность сказать несколько слов на языке той страны, в которую мы едем. Индия не исключение. А если учесть то, что это мультиязычная страна, то наша способность говорить на нескольких языках, не только на английском, только расширит понимание и откроет множественные возможности, мгновенно. 

А если учесть то, что Индусы просто обожают общаться и особенно радуются, когда слышат знакомую речь из уст иностранца. То конечно же это сразу же располагает к благоприятному общению. И самое главное — быстро помогает вам в решении любой жизненной ситуации. Даже небольшое знание языка приоткрывает двери в новый мир, традиций и культуры.
